What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Lead tax planning engagements from initial kickoff to final implementation
• Present tax strategies in client meetings and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the year
• Post tax-related journal entries and identify errors or areas for improvement in client accounting systems
• Stay current with federal and state tax law changes
• Support internal training and development for junior staff
• Research tax strategies that can provide meaningful savings and long-term client benefits

 

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in public accounting focused on tax
• CPA license required
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, UltraTax CS, and other accounting/tax tools a plus
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a positive, solutions-oriented team culture
